1. Who we are
weightsupply.com is operated by Dumbbells Direct LLC, doing business as Weight Supply. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the Site or submit one of our forms, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can opt out or ask us to delete it.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
Our request-for-quote form and our pop-up form collect exactly these fields:
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Company or gym name
- Location
- Website
- A free-text message describing what you’re looking for (quantities, products, timing — whatever you choose to type)
We also keep the content of any email or text exchange you have with us afterwards.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen size, and language.
- Usage data: pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, clicks, button and link interactions, form starts and submissions, and referring page.
- Recordings of your on-page interactions — see session replay and heatmaps below.
- Marketing attribution data: UTM parameters in the URL you arrived with (source, medium, campaign, term, content), the referring website, and the landing page you first hit. We store this so we know which ad, post, or search brought you to us, and we attach it to your form submission.
- Cookies, local storage, and similar identifiers set by us and by the analytics tools listed below.
3. How we collect it
Through the forms on the Site, and through the following third-party measurement tools that run on every page:
- Google Tag Manager— the container that loads our measurement tags.
- Google Analytics 4— aggregate traffic and conversion measurement.
- Microsoft Clarity— behavioral analytics, including heatmaps and session replay.
- PostHog— product analytics and event tracking, including heatmaps and session replay.
Please read this plainly: Microsoft Clarity and PostHog record your session. That means your mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, taps, and the pages you move between are captured and can be played back by us later as a video-like reconstruction of your visit, and aggregated into heatmaps showing where visitors click and how far they scroll. PostHog session recording is explicitly configured in our code to mask text you type into form fields (maskAllInputs: true). Microsoft Clarity is deployed with its vendor-default masking settings, which also mask text in standard input fields. In both cases you should assume that what you do on the page — not just that you visited — is recorded. We use these recordings to understand where the site is confusing and to fix it. 4. Why we use it
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare and send a quote, and follow up about it by email, phone, or text.
- To qualify and route your request internally, and to keep a record of our conversation.
- To send you marketing communications about our products — you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To measure and improve the Site: which pages work, where people get stuck, which content is useful.
- To measure our advertising and understand which channels bring in real inquiries.
- To protect the Site against fraud, spam, and abuse, and to comply with our legal obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes above. By category, and naming the main ones:
- Hosting, database, and form intake — Supabase receives and stores your form submissions; our site host serves the pages.
- Analytics and measurement — Google (Tag Manager and Analytics 4), Microsoft Clarity, and PostHog.
- Email and messaging— the email and SMS providers we use to reply to you and send follow-ups.
- CRM and sales tooling— the systems our sales team uses to track your inquiry.
We may also disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, to enforce our Terms of Service, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will note it here).
6. We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We have never done so. We do not rent or trade our inquiry list to anyone.
7. How long we keep it
Form submissions and the related correspondence are kept for as long as we have an active or reasonably foreseeable business relationship with you, and for up to three yearsafter our last contact, after which we delete or anonymize them — unless we need to keep something longer for tax, accounting, or legal reasons. Analytics and session replay data are retained according to each provider’s standard retention schedule, which varies by provider and plan and is generally measured in months rather than years. We do not independently extend those windows beyond each provider’s default settings.
8. Your choices and opt-outs
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us and ask.
- Text messages. Reply STOP to any message from us.
- Phone calls. Tell us on the call, or email us, and we will stop.
- Access, correction, or deletion. Email info@weightsupply.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us what you want. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity by confirming details of your submission.
- Cookies and analytics.Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies and local storage — that will stop most of the tracking described here, though parts of the Site may not work as intended.
- Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Session replay and heatmaps. You can opt out of Microsoft Clarity via Microsoft’s privacy statement. Most browsers’ Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and tracking-protection settings, or an ad/tracker blocker, will also prevent Clarity and PostHog recording from loading. Or email us and we will delete any recordings we can identify as yours.
9. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and disclose it, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information — though as stated above, we do not sell or share it. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. The categories we collect are identified in Section 2: identifiers, commercial/business contact information, and internet or other electronic network activity. To make a request, email info@weightsupply.com. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.
10. Children and scope
The Site is aimed at businesses in the United States and is hosted and operated in the United States. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards — encrypted transport, access controls, and vetted providers — to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us sensitive information (payment card numbers, government ID numbers) through the website forms.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site or our tooling changes. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
